I get ya, op. I've been married 7 years, 3 kids with one on the way and there are some days I take an extra ten or twenty minutes coming home from work just to collect myself. Love my family to death, but it's not easy sometimes. She'll have one of her moods (especially now, she's pregnant), kids are being a handful or somebody got sick. It's okay to want some time for yourself, nothing selfish about it and it's just natural. You just need to take the time you can for yourself when you have the chance and enjoy the benefits of being in a relationship. However, if you're constantly unhappy, perhaps reconsider your relationship.

i solved that with my girl giving us a free date/night/fuck every three years not accumulated. I don't need to know nothing, i don't need to tell nothing. Because in the end, it doesn't even matter. But the thing is, and that was my ideia, if i don't fuck someone else, the play card thing don't count. I just go on random date or i flirt on a bar on man's night, and do nothing else. Once a year i would say.. I discovered that what i miss about being single is about connecting to a stranger, and "conquering" the sex. And after connecting to a stranger i discovered that none of them can substitute my girl nor i want to. I don't know about hers, but if for some reason she left me, either i didn't do a good job supporting her, or i just wasn't enough, or she changed and didn't trust me with the new her, i don't wanna be with someone who doesn't trust me. She knows all that, so me and her do always our best to stay in the same page because is worth it..

Take a moment to calmly think about it trust me, you know what you had once it's gone. My longest relation was dramatic and it made me push her away. Looking back it was one of the biggest mistakes I made as I could easily have salvaged it. It's been about 2 years ago and I've had a few others. But none like her she understood me, I still regret it. It still came from both ways ofc she was a bit immature every time I tried to communicate she took it as critisisme. But still I could have salvaged it...Think long and hard about it. When shit is going wrong it's easy to see only the bad things.
